Is the LPU Online degree valid?
Yes. LPU is on UGC's list of universities entitled to run full online degrees for the August 2026 session. UGC treats an online degree from an entitled university as equal to a regular degree, for government and private jobs and for higher study, including a PhD.
Is this distance learning?
No. LPU Online is LPU's online mode, with live classes and proctored online exams. LPU runs distance education (ODL) as a separate programme.
How do classes and exams work?
Live classes on weekends, 400+ hours of recorded lectures on the LMS and the LPU Online app, and proctored online exams on your phone or laptop. You pick your own exam dates. There are no offline exams.
What is the 20% student grant?
LPU takes 20% off the tuition fee every semester; the ₹2,000 exam fee each semester stays. LPU's website says the current grant is valid until 31 October 2026. Paying the full fee at once takes another 10% off the tuition. A one-time ₹1,000 registration fee is extra.
Can I pay in EMI?
Yes. LPU offers no-cost EMI on the full programme fee over 6 to 24 months, from ₹3,400 a month for M.Com and M.Sc. You pay the fee directly to LPU.
Who can apply?
BBA, BCA and BA: 10+2 in any stream. MBA, MA and M.Sc Economics: a bachelor's degree in any subject. MCA: a bachelor's degree with Maths in 10+2 or in your degree. M.Com and M.Sc Mathematics need related subjects in your degree. LPU sets no minimum percentage, and you can apply while you wait for results.
Can I attend convocation?
Yes. LPU Online learners can attend convocation on the Phagwara campus or join online. The 12th Convocation was on 9 January 2026.
Do I pay FindMyCollege anything?
No. FindMyCollege is LPU's authorised admissions partner. It is free for you, and its scholarship is paid to you.

LPU हर सेमेस्टर की ट्यूशन फीस पर 20% छूट देता है; ₹2,000 की एग्ज़ाम फीस पूरी लगती है। LPU की वेबसाइट के मुताबिक यह ग्रांट 31 अक्टूबर 2026 तक है। पूरी फीस एक साथ देने पर ट्यूशन पर 10% और छूट। ₹1,000 की रजिस्ट्रेशन फीस अलग से लगती है।
क्या फीस EMI में दे सकते हैं?
हाँ। LPU पूरे कोर्स की फीस पर 6 से 24 महीने की नो-कॉस्ट EMI देता है, M.Com और M.Sc के लिए ₹3,400 महीने से। फीस सीधे LPU को जाती है।
कौन अप्लाई कर सकता है?
